Marion F. McIntosh, 82, of Winthrop, Ind., passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ray (Marjorie) Laughter at 6 a.m., Wednesday, December 29, 1976.
  He was born in Burnsville, N. C., on July 24, 1894, the son of William R. and Mary E. Dayton McIntosh. He had lived in Baltimore, Md. several years before moving to Winthrop 18 years ago.
  He was married in 1959 in Baltimore to Dolly R. Tipton who survives.
  Mr. McIntosh had been a tree surgeon with Aspalundh Tree Service in Baltimore for many years.
  He was a member of Hickman Heights Christian Church.
  Surviving besides his wife are three stepdaughters, Mrs. Eva Kilkiney of Sheridan, Wyo.; Mrs. Wilma Sanders of Henderson, Texas; and Mrs. Laughter of Winthrop. Also three stepsons, Leonard Tipton of Raleigh, N. C.; and James Tipton of Black Mountain, N.C.; three brothers, Cread McIntosh of Thermol, Cal.; Floyd McIntosh of Ventura, Cal.; and Sherman McIntosh of Indio, Cal.; two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Wilson of Black Mountain, N. C.; and Mrs. Florence Brock of Chico, Cal.
  The body was taken to McCall Funeral Home in Marion, N. Carolina for services and burial.
